The plant is just thin pieces of dried leaves and stalks. It's covered and surrounded by old fallen leaves. The shrub looks the same. Skinny brown leaves cling to a few branches. but looking closer, the shrub has changed. At the end of each twig, soft fuzzy tips have grown. They're on every twig end except for the branches that are dead. There's some rabbit droppings near the shrub. There's no snow whatsoever. The ground is damp.
