Wacky Wednesday

Weather: Sunny, dry. windy, cold. scattered clouds, bright blue sky
Colorful piles of leaves cover sections of the ground. Birds and crows flying and chirping and singing. Some of the trees aren't bare yet. Brown grass covers parts of the chunky, dirty ground. Winter is coming quickly!!
Nice and Cool

Weather: Windy, cool, and sunny.
Today it is mildly windy at 44 degrees F. Not many birds are cherping but more people are outsid then 2 days ago. There are a lot of leaves on the grond and moslty all of them are a nice yellow color. The tree i sit at only has leaves on the very top. I notices that there are somesmall scrapes ate the bottom probably from nature though. The tree also looks kinda dry and the brances are also red. After sitting outside for a while i notice that the sun is starting to warm me up, which is nice. The grass outside is very dead except fro the weeds still taking the only water the grass has for themselves. Today is a very nice day to be outside.

Leaves are crunching under my feet. It`s cold outside today. The bark is still peeling at the bottom of my tree. The leaves are now green,yellow,and brown. Some of them are missing. The grass is brown. My tree still has two trunks. The wind is blowing the leaves of my tree. It`s breezy out, too!

A breezy October day

Weather: It is partly cloudy, but sunny. There is a breeze. It is a cool day.
I sat by the same tree and observed that most of the leaves are turning brown. More leaves have fallen. The leaves that haven't fallen are about to. The sky is partly cloudy, but still sunny. Birds are flying in the sky. It is cool out. The grass is still dry and yellow.
Nice and Warm Wednesday

It is a very nice, sunny, clear day on October 10, 2012. The birds are singing. There seems to be a breeze coming from the west. The sun is very bright, and it is almost at full height (@ 11:10-11:15 a.m.). Again, I sat on the same hill as before, on top of a small berm in the backyard of the school. The tree's leaves that I was near are slowling changing colors.
Again, the ground was quite hard and the grass felt rough and dry. As I got up from sitting down, I noticed some dead leaves and grass stuck to my sweatshirt. Obviously, the grass is being affected by the hard, dry, and cold ground.

Weather: Today, the temperature is only around 45 degrees, with small "waves" of wind that make it feel colder. The sun is shining brightly with little to no cloud coverage.
s I was sitting by my Princeton Elm tree (as I usually do in my science class) I noticed that the edges of some of the leaves had started to change colors, and some even seemed ready to drop off! There seemed to be a few small insects left, unlike a few weeks ago when there were many more, burried deep in the ground. I don't blame them though since it is so cold! Lastly, the birds that are still left here in Minnesota seem to be ready to leave to go to the warm south. It is a wonderful day!

Cold October Day

Weather: Cold and windy october day
Today is chilly day. It is only 48 degrees outside. While I was sitting by the third tree I noticed many things going on around me. Mostly all the grass on the ground is dead or dying. All the birds are starting to head south instead of staying for the cold winter ahead. the wind is blowing a lot but it's blowing enough to make outside chilly, but not to cold. The trees look so bare because almost all of their leaves are now on the ground. iIt is very noisy outside because of the birds chirping and the squirrels running in the leaves. The pine trees in the distance still look as full as ever. The tree I have been assigned still has all its leaves. there is a lot of dirt patches on the ground. there is about five pieces of garbage that I see on the ground. Today seems like a good day to be outside because it isn't too cold outside!

Weather: Temp. Is About 50 degress Fahrenheit. Nice And Sunny with Big White Clouds, with a light and nice windy brezze.
My tree im taking care of at my school certainly has lost some leaves. The tree looked kind of dry today, but at least it got some sun today. I would love to take a nap outside and soak up the sun :)
